What's your view on the movie?

I've never watched the film. I've read the book, however. I gave it 3/5 stars. It was short, read-in-one-sitting, didn't include enough detail, and didn't seem to follow a timeline very well (that's what I said looking back at my review).

It was a good film, with excellent acting performances all around. That said, it reminded me a bit too much of the superior One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

I saw it when I was 16 and made me wonder if I had BPD too but I realize AS and that both share the same characteristics so I don't think I do.

I watched it last night, and I must say that I agree.

I've always liked this. I'm a bit of a nut and i find solace imagining the girls in the movie are my friends.

I love this film, a lot. I want to read the book and see how it compares.
Also Angelina Jolie and Brittany Murphy are amazing in it.

When this movie came out, I was constantly being told that the main character reminded people of me (it probably didn't help that I essentially had the same haircut), so it always seemed kind of personal in an incomprehensible kind of way. I'm not sure the accuracy of the comparison. I was prone to being sad, playing guitar, and drawing in journals, but I wasn't prone to blowing strange men.

I did enjoy the movie well enough, though.

Very good. Excellent performances. Several years now since I've see it though...

The End of the world by skeeter davis. I just remembered that song and its use in this film. Off to hunt it out now. :) :(

I liked the film, but I got really P-worded off when my psycho-git (what I call him!) told me I have borderline. I don't go around sleeping with random guys and I am not getting flashbacks and stuff...

But yeah, the film was really good.

One flew over the cuckoos nest was awesome, both the book and movie.

I watched Girls, interrupted, didn't read the book, not intending to since the movie was meh. Luckily the good acting saved it. Whatever happened to Winona Ryder anyway? She hasn't been in anything decent ever since.
