Yeah....I have no idea of what to interpret that as, but on the subject of Les Miserables, I remember seeing portions of that movie on the TCM channel.

Have any of you ever read the novel by Victor Hugo?

It was a ball buster.

I tried to read the novel but it was so fat my brain nearly exploded after the first paragraph!

Any fan of Les Misérables would get the reference of 24601 as it is Jean Valjean's prison number. There's a whole song called 'Who am I' in which Jean Valjean admits to being prisoner 24601. I haven't seen the play yet (grumbles) as it is too expensive but I have seen both the tenth and 25th anniversary editions and I love ALL the music.

I thought it was quite funny because Lea Salonga who played Eponine in the 10th anniversary was back playing Fantine in the 25th! The quartet version of 'bring him home' featuring the two current UK Jean Valjeans, Alan Boe and the original Jean Valjean (Colm Wilkinson) was absolutely beautiful. A very poor quality recording of it can be found on Youtube (but block your ears as the person near the microphone squeals a lot :( )

Don't know if anyone's guessed... Les Misérables is one of my special interests...

24601 yup!

Haven't read the book yet but I do enjoy the story, huh? I think I like Eponine the best out of all the characters. Cosette is a bit drippy beyond the age of 15...

Was singing in a local production (chorus) about Oct. 2000 -- it was fun. Ever seen 3000 audience people jump at the sound of fake gunfire??
