I do. I love it, especially the Las Vegas and New York ones. Miami is good, too, but I think the acting isn't as good.

The episode 'the cage' has the most positive presentation of an autistic person I have seen on tv.I am nothing like the guy but I very mutch like that he is presented as a very susseful in his chosen field

yeah, that was a good episode. I have always wondered if someone in the writing team is an autist or parent of one, because the Character Grissom is portrayed with many aspie traits as well.

I love it. It used to be my absolute favorite show. Used to, because the original hasn't been on for a long time here so I've started to like other series.

I don't like the spin-offs. Something's just off about them (no pun intended). And Grissom's not in them.

I don't like CSI much (or "CSO", as I call it, both as a pun on Crime Scene Operative and for Colour Seperation Overlay). Too much drama, not enough forensics.

Well, they can't make the show entirely for aspies, you know?

Yeah! You know? The writers? They should just write into the script for next season that during one episode, Grissom will need to acknowledge that he has asperger's, for some reason. Since it is one of the most watched shows, people may start having a much different take on how they view asperger's. Gee ... Grissom? He isn't a bad person, you know?

What? The original? It's still on, sure ... and it will be on next season as well.

As far as spin-offs, the NY one is quite good. The Miami one is alright, though David Caruso is not a good actor. He always has the same personality in everything he plays in, like he's genuinely programmed as a robot. His speech is so southern-oriented, too, and it is sort of annoying.

David Caruso ain't that bad, in my opinion. Neither's William Petersen. And as for Gary Sinise? He should be in more stuff.

I didn't say I hated CSI, I just prefer the science, as well as real life forensic stories. I mean, the Yanks may have the monopoly now, but Britain and Europe was the birthplace of forensics. Who here has heard of Sir Bernard Spilsbury, Francis Camps, Sydney Smith or Keith Simpson? I looked up "Keith Simpson" on wikipedia, and it says he was a politician??! Where is the pathologist who solved the acid-bath murders?

I once (unintentionaly) found a stub about the acid-bath murder himself if that's any help.

Maybe you could make one yourself if you know enough?

Oh, I forgot to say that I liked CSI mostly because of Grissom, it's why I didn't watch the spin offs, they were no better than commercial by products.

NCIS was good though if it can be counted as a spin off, it had a Grissom-esque character, albiet somewhat harsher, plus there was Abby, she had a great sense of style and, but mostly it was just cool to see her with such a high profile job, it just goes to show that those Europeans aren't the only ones having all the fun!

I'm starting to really get into the original CSI. Kinda follows, since it's on at last twice a night at work. We just ran The Cage last week and I agree that it was a pretty good portrayal.

Can't find any info on it in my country. Feels like forever since I saw the last episode. Which was Grave Danger, BTW. I though it sucked. Everyone was acting so out of character and all the details were wrong. I've never liked Tarantino.

The timing of american shows is weird here - they usually take a break in middle of the season and not after the finale. So we often see christmas episodes in the middle of the summer.

Now I'm starting to miss the show :P
