What the idea would be is a weekly or daily (if that could be
managed) documentary series completely unscripted, unrehearsed journal
of my life, the theme song sharing the show title, a 1987 George
Harrison song; "Just For Today." There would be the usual bugs to
be ironed out, like getting the permission rights to use the song,
the payment of royalties to Harrison's estate or whatever it is.
I'm not really up on that legal stuff. See for yourself if the
song's lyrics fit the show:

Just for today,
I could try to live through this day only.
Not deal with all life's problems.
Just for today.

If just for one night,
I could feel not sad and lonely.
Not be my own life's problem.
Just for one night.

Those are all the lyrics the song has. Obviously I would be in the
center role, the camera following me around documenting my daily
life. The second stanza of lyrics means something to me, especially
because of missing my female AS friend I still aim on marrying.
What does everyone else in the group think of this idea? By the
way, I have chosen to stay in this group. But the idea of Jerry
Newport seemingly banishing me from communication with him still
leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.

(Derived from a post I wrote for the Yahoo group Autistic Spectrum Tree House.)

Sounds rather self serving.

What about if many AS people each had an episode profiling them?

Now you're talking! And considering I've probably had the most air time of any Aspie here, I'll volunteer for an episode.

Postscript-I'll explain my airtime later.
