Probably the only TV show I don't like on adult swim. It's not funny and it makes no sense.

The only bigger Venture Brothers fan than me that I know of is my five year old daughter. It is without a doubt my favorite cartoon on Adult Swim. I've always described it to friends as Johny Quest on meth - which is funny, being that the character Action Johny (obviously the aforementioned Johny Quest) is a drug addict. Without a doubt, my favorite characters are Brock Samson, the Monarch, Number 21 (is that his proper number?) or Gary since he's gotten Hulked out, and Hunter Gathers (who I'm certain is the late Hunter S. Thompson). And Dr. Girlfriend/Dr. My Wife is the hottest cartoon female I've ever seen! :D

I was a HUGE fan of Johnny Quest as a kid and think the Venture Brothers is the best show on TV now. You have to be a fan of the boy adventurer genre to understand the Venture Brothers.

I love the Venture Brothers. When I worked at the dollar store, I helped an old woman who sounded just like Dr. Girlfriend/Mrs. Monarch. I had to fight the urge to laugh.

So you are a true, ensouled human with a sense of humor then? I am relieved. For a seconded there, I thought I had glimpsed the abyss. :shaking:

Metal Man and Master Jedi have it right. Have to have watched Johhny Quest or other action boy adventure cartoons to get it. I like that the former boy adventurer-super scientists are now dysfunctional and divorced and depressed. Like most real life people. Best of all the villains are just as dysfunctional.
Love that Monarch. Greatest dysfunctional, self-hating, semi-narcissist super villain ever. Super villain that thinks he's a butterfly. What could be better.
