I am almost done with season 3 and Heroes to me has been like 9th wonders was to Hiro
I am just learning about being an Aspie and at firsst I had major identity issues but I started watching Heroes and realized I am a superhero in a way and I just needed to learn how to use my powers and now the aspergers strengths are easier to channel.
I could write a book on how Heroes is the greatest Aneurotypical show ever but I want to know what others feel
also I think I am going to get a tattoo that says Aspie but the s will be Kenseis symbol

Good point. I never really thought about it that way. I watched HEROES when it first aired several years ago, and that was before I realized I had AS. Looking back at it now, it's true. We do all have our own "Aspie superpowers" but may be viewed as "weirdos" by "normal" people.

Never watched Heroes, but might give it a go now!

I guess I never watched it from the perspective of "can I relate to it as an Aspie" - but I guess now that you mention it, it does make sense in a lot of ways.

That said, for me the show was truly great.... and then it jumped the shark in the finale of season 1 and was pretty darned bad in season 2. I only made it a few episodes in to season 3 before I gave up.

Ditto, sadly enough.

the second season was screwed due to the writers strike.
but as for everything else it has its ups and downs but definitely we are all "super heroes" in a world that isnt ready
as far as the evolution factor we might be the precursor the floating head
physically restrained by our bodies trying to get out
and we fit in perfectly with technology which is the next step in human evolution
we are the ghosts in the shell
that was a typing rant
take from it what you will
