The Brigadier only faced off Daleks onscreen in Day of the Daleks. Though he was said to be stuck in Peru during The Stolen Earth.

Don't give him props just for surviving Dalek invasions. The Brig's biggest moment of glory came when he shot the Destroyer, a world-eating demon-like thing, with silver bullets, and survived the ensuing explosion. He very nearly didn't, and knew it, which was why he deliberately went instead of the Doctor, knocking his old friend out to prevent the Doctor from dying.

Already, there are tribute videos on YouTube. Like this one.

The UNIT years people are dropping away. Roger Delgado in '73, Jon Pertwee in '96 (something of an annis horriblus for me), Barry Letts in 2009...and now Nick Courtney.
