Does anyone or did anyone ever watch the original 90210? I was really into it several years ago when I caught reruns...and just started watching it again from the beginning on DVD. It's addictive.

I watched it every now and then a few years ago on SoapNet. I always loved the opening sequence.

Used to watch it a little bit - I think my favorite episode was where Steve gets a last minute flight home on Xmas.

Anyone ever see the episode where Dylan gets married to Toni (played by Rebecca Gayheart)? Her father is a mob boss and hates Dylan and puts a hit on him...and they shoot Toni in a car thinking it was Dylan and Dylan shows up a few seconds later and opens the door and holds her in his arms saying "No No look what they did to her!" and it's raining in the background.

I've seen that episode. I believe Luke Perry (the actor playing Dylan) left the show for a while after that episode.

My friends and I watched the very first episode of 90210 when it first aired, because we were under the mistaken assumption that it was supposed to be a comedy.
Half way through, we switched the channel to Cheers. Never watched it again.

90210 can be divided into two separate eras....the first 3 seasons where they're in high school and it's basically a more serious Saved By The Bell. The rest of the seasons are more like a soap opera with slightly better acting...everyone dating/doing everyone...on drugs etc.
