"In brightest day" Is anyone excited for this?, I know I am or

"In darkest night" do you think its going to be a big flop?

I saw the trailer it looks like a promising superhero movie (plus the fact that everyone will get to see that there is more than one Green Lantern and not just John Stewart). Even Sinestro looks awesome. The guardians look a bit funny looking but then again when where they not funny looking :o I know theres going to be people hating this film because they wanted Ryan Reynolds to play Deadpool in its own movie. But to tell you the truth, I would have been happy with either one. So I can't wait untill summer when this movie hits theaters :D

You know, Reynolds playing Sector 2814's Green Lantern doesn't preclude Reynolds playing Deadpool - they exist in two entirely different fictional universes. Besides, Chris Evans' two turns as Johnny Storm didn't stop him from being cast as Captain America - and they are in the same shared world!

I wasn't too sure about the movie before, but seeing that there will apparently be at least a training montage for Jordan (and with Kilowog as his instructor, to boot!), I'm happier. It would be interesting to see if they can sneak in a reference to Alan Scott's rather different Green Lantern, though... :)

I'm looking forward to seeing that movie as well. I'll have to start going to the cheap movies with the Saturday crowd at my clubhouse, once a month. :)

I can't picture Evan playing Captain America...he's too scrawny and short.

No need for you to picture it unassisted... :)

Yeah....uber fail.

Nothing close to what CA is supposed to look like.

Frankly, they talk a good game about GL in 2011, but I've yet to see anything that would make me want to go see it. It's just hype at this point.

Actually, that does look pretty much like Cap - keeping in mind that Captain America: the First Avenger is set when Cap first started out, during WWII. They did use the helmet design from the Ultimates universe, but that's in line with the black Nick Fury they're using, too. (Wonder if any of the other Avengers in the big movie will be drawn from their Ultimates counterparts? Might be interesting to see an Asian Janet van Dyne, although I really hope they don't make Henry Pym into an abuser...)
