The Social Network: accurate?
Gee, I didn't get the impression that they made Zuckerberg look like he was an Aspie in "The Social Network" -- I felt like he was pictured pretty much as what he is, an incredibly smart guy with a great idea. He knew he was smart, smarter than most, and yeah, sometimes he let his concept get in the way of some of his relationships (according to the fiction of the movie), but lots of driven people do that. That's not an Aspie trait.
I have, however, seen some ABC reports on Zuckerberg, or heard NPR reports, that seemed to focus on the aspects of Zuckerberg's character that would appear to be aspie-like.
I think the part of the movie that seemed to highlight what could have been an aspie characteristic of Zuckerberg's was in the opening, when he was out with his girlfriend, they were having a conversation, and he wasn't really listening to his girlfriend, and then he insulted her (some comment about her attending Boston University, like that was "less than" Harvard) without even realizing that he was insulting her. Yeah, that seemed pretty Aspie.
