Recently read a little feature on TotalFilm.com on what they think are the best and worst superhero movies. Here's the list narrowed down..

Best:
Kick-Ass
Hellboy
Iron Man
Superman
X-Men
Blade
The Dark Knight
Batman (1989)
Spiderman 2
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Yes really)
Watchmen
The Incredibles
Darkman
Mystery Men
The Incredible Hulk 08
Batman Returns
Superman Returns

Worst:
Condorman
Daredevil
Steel
Superman IV: The Quest for Peace
X Men Origins: Wolverine
Blade Trinity
Batman and Robin
Batman 1966
Spiderman 3
Elektra
Spawn
Fantastic Four
The Phantom
Sky High
Supergirl
The Spirit
My Super Ex-Girlfriend

Debate on those lists, but i want to know where is Batman Begins and X Men 2? Surely those two belong on the best list....

I'm no superhero buff, but I heard Catwoman starring Halle Barry was horrible. How did it not make the Worst list?

I think my favorite superhero movie would be Spider Man, but I haven't seen many superhero movies in a while.

X-men 2 is one of my all time faves... That list is pretty deficient.

Spider-Man, Superman II and Hellboy II The Golden Army are missing too. In fact I think Hellboy II is better than the first one.
Here is my top 20 list. I usually change my mind sometimes but for now here's the list.
1) The Dark Knight
2) Kick Ass
3) Batman Begins
4) Iron Man
5) The Incredibles
6) Spider-Man 2
7) Watchmen
8) X-Men 2
9) Superman
10) Batman
11) Spider-Man
12) Superman II
13) Hellboy II The Golden Army
14) The Incredible Hulk
15) X-Men
16) Batman Mask of the Phantasm
17) Iron Man 2
18) Hellboy
19) Batman Returns
20) Blade

Completely forgot about Hellboy 2, and i have to agree that's better than it's predecessor. The scene where Hellboy and Abe get drunk while singing along to Barry Manilow is sheer genius.

This should not be in the Worst list. I am a fan of both the 66 film and the TV series and regard it as one of the most innovative and unique TV shows ever made.

If you watch the 60s TV series as a comparison with the comic book/superhero genre, you will always end up disappointed because Batman 1966 has to be appreciated in its own terms.

My favorites would be Spider Man 2, Super Man 2, The Incredibles, and probably the first Batman movie (with Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson)

I saw The Green Hornet today. It was good but not great. The acting from Seth Rogen and Jay Chou was kinda wierd.

I would have put the first Fantastic Four on the worst list long before The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.
