I have not seen this movie. I am only replying because I misread your topic title. When I first glanced at your topic, for a split second I thought it said "movie: my secret garden", and I thought it was a movie based on the book "My Secret Garden" by Nancy Friday.

And, well, ahem, now THAT would be a very interesting movie indeed ;)

hey me too, its one of my favorites I have always dreampt about living in a large mansion such as that house with hidden passages. The first time I seen it was in 9th and 10th grade as a result of a lazy teacher who would be a tv set hog (borrowing a tv set like 3 days out of the week just to watch movies). After that first time seeing it I have had dreams were I was in the garden after it was finished looking at nature and knowing the garden was all mine.

I want my backyard to look like the garden in the movie. I absolutely love that movie, sadly....I have very little gardening talent....but hey, I'm working on it.

maybe you need to do some magic ritual... like build a bonfire & dance around it... :) just like in the movie... if u need a dancer, just let me know... :) but all i can manage is a bit of hippity hoppity & freestyle like that and it'll help if there's some house music playing in the background to help me find the rhythm... :)... :D

yea me too at the end that song would stick for a few days! also other parts like when the adopted girl discovers the boy who was disabled in bed and was allergic to mold and other spores and the time when he was walking and doing that chant for his father to come and see him. I forgot the boy's name.

You are welcome. I just re-read that book yesterday. I have to say that, true to form, I prefer the book over the movie (and the play), but the movie is still wonderful.

I prefer the book to the movie as well, but it makes me sad. It's still great though.

Why does it make you sad? I am just wondering because it seems like such a happy ending...
