Does anyone watch this show here besides he.

I think it's totally hilarious.

I would like the DVD set, If it's released already. :)

Yes, that is a very funny show!

I like it when Fred pretends he is having a heart attack and says "Don't worry, Elizabeth, I'm coming to join you!"

I like that show too!

Redd Foxx said he was coming to join Elizabeth, and he was ready for "the big one."

I'm not sure what that is, but Sanford and Son is a very funny show regardless!

And sadly, he really did have the "big one" back in 1991.

I was wondering what the "big one" was, but now, I think I know for sure.

Are you referring to when Redd Foxx collapsed on the set of "The Royal Family" in that year?

The "big one" in 1991 was when he collapsed on the Royal Family set.

And I think the "big one" probably referred to a massive heart attack.

BTW, it also makes me think about the skit on Saturday Night Live about the Superfans ("Da Bears", "Da Bulls"), and when one of them had his fifth heart attack of the week.

Have you guys ever seen the episode when Fred had one of his friends look out for Lamon. And somehow Lamon locks out Fred's friend (I think his name was "Buddy") and seeks over some of his friends and they party until his Aunt and her church group clime threw the window and catch them.

I also like the one where Lamon brings over some of the guys from a pool table bar place over for a game of poker. ;)

For your information, his name is Lamont.

I was just going to say, Redd Foxx may have passed away, but Demond Wilson, the character who played Lamont, is most definitely still alive. He would have been mortified if he would have seen this thread.

Thank you for correcting yourself!
