Yeah pretty much

Apart from the Indiana Jones films, Avatar. And some of those I haven't seen. Terminator 3 and Salvation should never of been made.

Your list is pretty much the exact same as mine- although I'd add The Spirit (2008).

The difference between a good movie and a bad movie for me is that a good movie sets and defines an objective within the first 10 minutes or so, and focuses on the overall purpose of the film, with minimal filler material. If a movie is supposed to be funny, then it should define the direction within the first 10 minutes, usually some awkward situation, and focus on the situation, not the people, or the dialogue. If the comic material is supposed to come from a specific character's point of view, then the movie should focus on that character during the scenes intended for humor. Most movies today are all over the place, with no real definition of what the plot is or where the plot is supposed to end up. It's like a hose that nobody's holding. This is why most movies today suck. They also don't pay much attention to detail.

It's like cooking a steak. Most directors today think you can just throw the steak on the grill, and it will turn out just fine, because everyone loves steak! If you throw it on, and turn it with a baseball bat, then throw a marinade on there halfway through, with the wrong type of spices sprinkled on the surface of the grill, all on the highest heat, then the steak is going to turn out pretty bad. A good director knows to marinate the steak ahead of time, and put the right spices on (and the right amount of spices on) then spray the grill, then turn it on to medium-low heat, and cook the steak, slowly, patiently, carefully, but stay focused, and make sure the steak isn't overdone or underdone. It's a time consuming task, and it can be annoying, but it's worth it in the end. "Even though it was 10 dollars, it was a really good steak. I'm happy I bought it."

While no one seems to actively hate Tim Burton's versions of Alice in Wonderland and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (aside from loyal fans of the original books or previous film adaptations), the movies have gotten mixed reviews from critics, and most other Tim Burton fans seem to think that they are not as good as his other movies like Nightmare Before Christmas and Edward Scissorhands.

However, I am completely obsessed with Alice in Wonderland and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and in my opinion, they are every bit as good as Burton's more "classic" movies. The Mad Hatter and Willy Wonka are my top favorite characters that were played by Johnny Depp, and I have watched the scenes featuring them so many times that I can recite their dialogue ad verbatim. It makes me sad that not that many other people are as passionate about those movies as I am.

I liked "The Princess and the Frog" and thought it was a good effort at a 2D animation comeback though many Disney enthusiasts and real life folk don't think so. I actually prefer it more than the critically acclaimed "Tangled".

Also "Not Another Teen Movie" which is perhaps the funniest satire of teen movies ever made.

Those that I agree with you on. Most of the others I simply haven't seen, so I can's agree or disagree on, though from this list, we have similar taste in movies :)

Independence Day, which is so much fun nothing else matters.
Revenge of the Sith, even though I hated the other prequels.
Shrek 3, although I didn't like it as much as the first two.
Cars (meh, it wasn't horrible).
Mr. Bean's Holiday, why was that considered bad? :?

Oh yes, I really like that movie. I know it was made in 2001 but it's like something out of the 80's :D

it was based on a 1969 brian aldiss short story, "supertoys last all summer long." the movie had a decades-long gestation period with many pitfalls along the way. steven spielburg is the one reason it finally got made. if stanley kubrick had lived long enough to actually make it himself, it would have been a far, far different film, far darker.

I can only name two: Xanadu and Joe Versus the Volcano.

I think the objective of this subject should be movies that people really hate, as opposed to listing stuff like, say, Avatar.

In that case, I take back my previous post. What I should have said is that I'm the only person I know who enjoys Drop Dead Fred. Most people absolutely loathe that movie (even the Nostalgia Critic!) But being a grown woman with imaginary friends, I loved the subject matter of the film and I thought Fred himself was hilarious (toilet humor is my favorite kind of humor). I can't wait for the upcoming remake starring Russell Brand, because I can already tell just by watching him in interviews that he is the best modern-day choice to portray Fred.
