If you could write about what's so good about time travel movies, that would be great. What are your favourite moments?

Here's another Classic - The Time Machine

The Terminator - Nice clean time loop. They made it a bit messier with the sequels.

Escape from the Planet of the Apes - Another nice clean time loop, also messed up in the sequels.

A Christmas Carol - Time travel, but of a different type

It's a Wonderful Life is the classic what-if alternative time line movie.

Also -Fatherland- by Robert Harris. The novel was better than the movie, but the movie was o.k. The premise was that the D-Day invasion failed and the Allies settled with the Nazis.

Hot Tub Time Machine. No really. Terrible film. Even for someone like me, who quite liked the 80s.

For those who like alternate-time line stuff look up the Many Worlds Hypothesis.
