Do you have a special movie that you could watch over and over again, and never get tired of watching it? For me, it is "Coraline". It's my absolute favorite movie of all time ever since the first time I've watched it, and when I come home from college, first thing I do is watch it while eating... and then again when doing stuff for college on my notebook... and maybe again when doing my workout... and then, after returning home from training, I watch it again before going to bed. Don't know if it is my AS or if I am just obsessive in general, but... I don't know, for some reason, Coraline makes me feel so comfortable and relaxed, and I always enjoy every minute of it.

There are lots of movies I can call my favorites, but only a handful that I've watched obsessively, over and over again, on DVD:

Blade Runner (1982)
The Thing (1982)
The American Friend (1977)
Die Hard (1988)
Die Hard with a Vengeance (1995)
Night of the Living Dead (1968)
Dawn of the Dead (1978)
Highlander (1986)

That list is roughly in order of obsessiveness, but really, I know each one like the back of my hand.

I have several favorite movies that I've seen multiple times on DVD:

Alice in Wonderland (2010)
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005)
Sweeney Todd
Edward Scissorhands
Sleepy Hollow

But the most special is the first one, Alice in Wonderland (2010). I love it because it sends the message that it's OK to have mental illnesses ("You're mad, bonkers... But I'll tell you a secret: all the best people are") and I identify so strongly with both Alice and the Mad Hatter. Even though all of my favorite movies have Johnny Depp in them, the Mad Hatter is my favorite of his characters. I'm not sure why, but for some reason he really appeals to me. Maybe because I see him as a tragic figure and want to "make him better". But couldn't that just as easily be said of any of the Johnny Depp characters from Tim Burton movies? So why the Hatter? Who knows? *shrugs*

The Nightmare Before Christmas

I watch it several times a year, and always around Halloween. I know all the songs, and if I'm watching it I can recite all the lines along with the movie.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

As far as any show/series - I watch Arrested Development over and over, ever since each season was released.

Amelie. Clever script, great acting and direction. It always makes me smile and feel good.

I can watch a lot of movies over again some of mine are.

Muriel's Wedding:

Corpse Bride:

Grease:

Bangkok Hilton:

The Lion King:

Abba The Movie:

Alice in wonderland 2010 is also a movie I can watch over again I saw it the other night and noticed things I missed before, like the funny bit when the March Hare threw the cup at the Knight for some reason I thought that was funny.

Yep! My favorite is definitely Barry Lyndon. After that, probably Office Space...that movie cracks me up no matter how many times I've seen it.

Of the three films in my Trinity (Star Wars, Raiders, Pulp Fiction), I could probably watch Raiders nonstop over and over again without getting tired of it. The average script for Star Wars might get dull after awhile and I can really only watch Pulp Fiction depending on what mood I'm in. But I could watch Raiders nonstop, never get tired of the story, and watch it no matter what mood I'm in. It's just an awesome blend of adventure and comedy that I could never get tired of.

I could watch The Adjustment Bureau over and over again because it has science fiction and romance (and Emily Blunt) and I could watch Hot Fuzz over and over again without getting bored. I guess also Spirited Away because of its beautiful soundtrack.

My Name is Nobody

The Blues Brothers

Pulp Fiction

I've watched each of those movies better than 50 times.
