Today I went to see Disney's Tangled and I thought it was great. I went by myself which is what I always do. I know there's nothing wrong with going to the cinema alone but would you think it's weird for a 24 year old guy to go see an animated film about a fairy tale princess?

The thing is I love animation whether it's tv or movies. Most of my favourite animated movies are ones I use to watch as a kid like The Lion King and Toy Story, but I also love recent films beyond my childhood like Kung Fu Panda and How to Train your Dragon.

I personally don't think it's weird, because I'm also an adult male who enjoys animated films.

I enjoy going to animated films as well. I think its as okay as seeing any other movie alone; I don't think its as weird as if you went to a chick flick alone.

There is a lot of animated movies that I like such as The Lion King and Titan A.E.

But I think the one that stands as the best animated film to me is Toy Story 3

The film had many of the characters back, emotional storytelling, great voice acting, and very nice comedy. :D

I recently purchased a copy of Disney's Cinderella which had pink hearts on the front and I(being a 24 year old straight guy) enjoyed it. Is that O.K?

I have no shame whatsoever in liking animated films. Tangled was great, but I also love the Pixar films, Miyazaki-San's work from Japan, and a good number of Disney and Dreamworks films. Sure Disney and Dreamworks have put out some duds over the years, but it wasn't because they were animated. Just like any live action film, the story and the characters are what matter.
