This was definately unexpected. I'm a huge fan of Family Guy and I do like the original Flintstones as well. I sought of have mixed feelings about this. I think Family Guy is still good despite what people may say. I haven't really seen any new episodes of American Dad(which I do like) and I'm not really fond of The Cleveland Show. This could probably work, though this begs the question of what the show is gonna be like. Will it be a family viewing show or will it have rude and offensive jokes like Macfarlane's other shows.

I've heard he only got the rights to the show under the agreement that he keeps it "family friendly".

I'm just tired of MacFarlane doing all these cartoons.
Give some other animators a chance already.

I like and he only does shows that appear new on fox. So im just fine with him getting more shows. We do have Napoleon Dynamite and a show about a genius who goes to elementary school in the new seasons lineup. Both have nothing to do with seth.

I love Napoleon Dynamite and I am eagerly awaiting the new cartoon based on it. :) Hooray for series taking place in Idaho!

I'm interested in seeing how he makes out with The Flintstones. He definitely has Fred's voice down, as when Fred has made the occasional appearance in a couple stream of consciousness gags.

I'm not sure if Macfarlane did the voice of Fred.
