I've never seen it. What's it about, besides the autistic guy?

Well its about this autistic guy, Ben who doesnt speak much and is badly bullied in school. So he plays a lot of computer games, and has one friend on it who he plays with a lot.
One day he is badly embarassed and everyone films it, but his one friend from school films them filming him.
So ben along with the help of his family, fake suicide to get everyone in chruch to mourn.
Then they play the footage of what his friend filmed. Then shows that he is still alive. He also imagines meeting the girl he plays computer games with. She is with him all the time, although its just his imagination. Obviously more happens than that, but thats the main things. its really well done, and well acted, although its in subs. Im not too sure what country its filmed in.

I just now looked it up. It's Belgian.

Anyway, it sounds interesting. If I ever see a copy of it at Blockbuster, I'll consider renting it.

Yes. I like it too. The language is Flemish.

I didn't really like the ending, but the rest was really good.

I found it in the library. I loved it. It wasn't all 'look at this horrendously handicapped guy... Oh my God he can do higher level mathematics and physics!' which a lot of autism films seem to focus on. I think I related to this character more because he was just generally clever rather than savant clever.

I cried a lot though because some of his bullying incidents could have been flashbacks of my life :'(

The main actor did a good job, but he was way too old for the part (28 when the movie came out) and they just had to pick West-Flemish, the most incomprehensible of all Flemish dialects. -_- I had to put subtitles on for pete's sake.
