Fezzes are cool!! !

Just out of curiousity what actors do you think would make an excellent doctor. Doctor Who has had 11 doctors thus far. And I just wanted to know your suggestions are! And also should he regenerate into a ginger?

Hmm...tough decision. However, I'd like to throw Mark Gatiss into contention, partly because he's wanted to play the role for some time. Or Jason Flemyng. Or even Dylan Moran.

If people are willing to see an American in the role, I'd wonder what Jim Parsons would make of the role.

Gimme some time, and I'll come up with some other names.

Benedict Cumberbatch would be a good choice, I think. He'd gain an even bigger fanbase than he has from playing the new modern-day Sherlock. Plus, I hear he's a natural red-head - he dyed it black to play Sherlock, but I think that the show will probably be over by the time the 11th Doctor regenerates, so then he could go back to his natural hair color again.

The other day... and I don't know why... I suddenly thought how brilliant Gerard Butler would be in the role! Unfortunately, although Scottish, he is not ginger...

Actually, I read somewhere that Benedict Cumberbatch had considered taking the role, but had decided against it. That's why I didn't add him.

That would be an inspired choice.

I'm sure it will be someone far more insipid.

I would like Jon borrow (cap Jack) play the Doctor. The 11th Doctor and his wife were the 1st loves in sometime and I think it would add some fun seeing the doctor freak out about him looking like Jack.
