Well I'm sure someone probaly brought this ad up before. The Head-On ads. Now they think they're so clever for having people on, complaining about how bad the ads are, but how good their products are. What advertising agency did they go to? Or did they just ask a group of high schoolers their thoughts on how to make an ad. This is like advertising you'd see for a school project.

The 'Head On' commercial repeats itself 3 times.
" Head on works right where you apply it" or something.

I like the Olive Garden commercials.

I think I heard Jerry Vale sing in one of them.

Olive Garden is one of the top places that I'd blow up if given no more reasons to live under the law. Hate those ads and the people there.

safe auto commercials make me want to shoot to the t.v. especially that song at the end. Then there are those car commercials where they scream at you. It's all quiet and then "Huuuuuggge sssaaallle! COME ON DOWN!!" Then they always have that cherry faced man screaming at you.

There is a commercial in our area for an auto company, and some silly guy says, "huge" at the end. It really annoys a lot of people.

About your ad, who is Sallie and did they have the Price is Right in mind when they did it?

It sounds to me like what they have in mind for other people to do is ridicule themselves and others.

Where did that Price is Right stretch come from?

WHAT'S DINNER AT THE OLIVE GARDEN LIKE?

"So Elizabeth, still wanting to go out for steaks now?" Tony asks.

"I guess this fettucini wasn't so bad after all, Tony."

The entire table looks at Elizabeth and bursts out in laughter.

The family patriarch announces, "Welcome to the Olive Garden. With our fine Italian cuisine and our warm family atmosphere you will always feel at home. So eat, hail mary, EAT!"

The family erupt in shouts of "Bravo!", "Rice-a-Roni!" and "Fortissimo!"

Giant plates of pasta dance around the table with the ease of UFOs dancing across the sky in Roswell, N.M.

Each person points at the food and says "Ahhhhhh!" after they receive their plate.

...SO COME JOIN US FOR DINNER AT THE OLIVE GARDEN!

AFTER DINNER AT THE OLIVE GARDEN

"Say, Tony, what just happened?" asks Elizabeth.

"What?" Tony replies.

"I mean, everyone just laughed at me and went hysterical over their food. And what was with your dad and his monologue about this restaurant?"

"Well, they thought what you said was very funny and they absolutely loved that you decided to choose their favorite restaurant."

"Really?" asks Elizabeth.

"Yes. It's quite amazing, isn't it? All you have to do is go to the Olive Garden and everyone will immediately like you and you will always feel special and as you are stoned and as if you are having an orgasm and--."

"--wow! I am really that special?

"Yes. But this is just a commercial, of course."

"Oh."

"Yeah. So what all just happened couldn't happen in real life. You're not even my girlfriend."

"Bummer."

"Yep."

...DON'T YOU WISH REAL LIFE WAS LIKE THE OLIVE GARDEN?

And the mockery may or may not continue! We don't know.

But Jerry Vale is going to keep on singing.

And the next thing you know, Mr. "TV Pet" Barker is not going to be very happy if he sees a car commercial.

my crazy conspiracy theory is this:They drug you at the olive garden with laughing gas! After that they make the children cut their hair neatly and put on clothes they'd never wear! it's like a prison or something....

In Canada we have these milk commercials that make no sense. The tag line is aways grow, grow always while showing teenagers doing things. Got milk was so much better.
