From reading/watching/playing the franchise...he seems socialable...and yet he's treated really badly by his friend's and seems to suffer from getting a job and thinking he has superpowers as well as Ramona's Evil Exes.

I know it's a fantasy comic...but I wouldn't be surprised if Knives had ADHD and OCD, Steven had some form of AS through his obsession with his band and Kim having something that makes her so angry all the time.

Which makes me ask this question too...was this book aimed at Autism/Aspergers Young Adults the way it provides adult like content in a kiddy like storytelling?

Very interested in how this will turn out but seriously...reading the books again made me think whether he actually has it.

I think it was targeted for all manchildren worldwide.

I laughed at manchildren but I know it's aimed at everyone.

@arecibo_: Be more specific, why don't you think? Would be interesting to see why you think that.

I'm not bothered really as it was a random thought I came up with to talk about, I'll respect your opinion about it. :)

Most certainly not. It's just that he's meant to be a "geek/nerd" so Bryan Lee O'Malley just plays Scott into the stereotpye, which is like AS. I doubt the character is meant to be autistic.

A person that fights planets all the time, could fool anyone...

I've only seen the movie - please, don't hit me - but I have to say no. He seems way too sociable and communicative for an Aspie.
Knives now; I agree with the ADHD and OCD diagnosis, which can either accompany Asperger's, or be mimicked by it.

No, he's just a big old geek boi.

I can say however his girlfriend in the movie is hot...and it seriously freaks me out that it's Mary Elizabeth Winstead 8O

What's so bad about that?

Come to think about it, Ramona acts anti-social sometimes and the fact that her relationships are very short....

I took Ramona to have Borderline Personality Disorder. I really think Scott should have run as far away from her as possible, and stuck with Knives.
Chances are, Scot's going to end up as one of her evil ex's.

I have no idea what that is but I will be looking it up now.

I've heard so many negative things about hipsters, I'm not sure just what actually constitutes one.
Please, give me the definition of Hipster.
