Don't take this seriously.
Plot: Godzilla (Zac Effron) is a biker punk in a post-apocalyptic, Blade Runner-esque Neo-Tokyo run by the tyrannical Dayo Corporation. He is also a kaiju, a human born with bizarre powers, such as the ability to generate ki blasts, incredible strength, a healing factor, and an extremely high pain threshold. Kaiju are frowned upon in this dystopia; they are exploited, ostracized, even murdered. After he and his band, the Defenders, are framed by the Corporation for a crime they didn't commit, they're offered a chance to redeem themselves. They must enter an underground fighting tournament held in Thailand and run by an African warlord named K. Ghidorah (Djimon Hounsou), who is bent on world domination via a powerful weapon sought by the Corporation.
-Gigan is a former kaiju surgeon who now operates as a serial killer and assassin.
-Mothra is a Dayo Corporation spy assigned to assist Godzilla and his band.
-King Caesar is Godzilla's foster father, killed by the Corporation. He's played by Chow-Yun Fat.
-Miki Saegusa is a femme fatale working for K. Ghidorah.
-The Dayo Corporation is run by a half-human/half-kaiju named Carla Bagan III, played by Molly Ringwald. After exposure to the weapon's energy, she's turned into a Brontosaurus.
-Monster X is a ninja genetically altered by K. Ghidorah's captive scientist, Shiragami, played by James Hong.
-Rodan is a hacker. Played by Jaleel White.
-Frankenstein is a botched attempt by K. Ghidorah to create a superkaiju. Ray Park.
-Serizawa, played by Steven Seagal, is a crime boss in an uneasy alliance with K. Ghidorah.
Soundtrack by Rob Zombie.
Lol, loved it.
And you know, those Hollywood bigheads are probably sitting in their offices, working as hard as they can to have this exact movie made.....on a $100 million budget.
