In the late 70s and much of the 80s, some local NBC affiliates aired a program after Saturday Night Live called Saturday Night Dead. It was usually a local version of Elvira, hosted by a woman with big boobs wearing a black dress (other versions had mad scientists, vampires, etc.), that showed old, often campy, horror B-movies. Perhaps the most well-known version was the one in Philadelphia that featured Stella, the "maneater from Manayunk".

If anybody remembers this show from back then, and can name their own local affiliates, feel free to comment.

I vaguely remember a version airing in Houston (KPRC), before being replaced by DC Follies. Then again, I could barely stay up for SNL, let alone SND.
