The commentary interlude was great.

The episode itself? So-so....Beavis hurting his hand and his alter ego being worshipped were both done in the previous series.

I'm still really looking forward to it though.

The commentary is indeed the funniest part. The main reason I wanted this show to come back was so that they could comment on today's musicians and celebrities. It's nice to see that they'll be watching shows and not just music videos.

Now if only someone can convince Cartoon Network to bring back Space Ghost Coast to Coast, all will be right with the world.

Looks just like the original. I wasn't expecting that.
I also like how they're still doing the music video/pop culture scenes.

The first episode in 14 years is out. Watch it on MTV's website here.

Darn it, if I had known that it was going to be available online today, I wouldn't have missed David Letterman's interview with Johnny Depp last night in order to watch it. :( But since JD publicly admitted to being a Justin Beiber fan last night, perhaps it was for the best...

*ahem* Anyways, my favorite part of the latest Beavis & Butthead episode was when they were riffing on that Skrillex video. I'm glad that Mike Judge and MTV have brought them back to skewer this generation's pop culture phenomenons, so now they can enjoy a new wave of popularity. :D I also noticed that the original voice actors for Stewart and Mr. Van Driessen (sp?) returned, so that was a massive win.

I really enjoyed it. I am so glad they are making fun of MTVs current crop of craptacular shows.

I watched it on MTV last night. I'm going to start watching it every week since I used to watch the old episodes back in the mid-90s. I also watched most of the old ones again on Netflix streaming recently.

That's because MTV doesn't show music videos anymore. I'm glad MTV finally brought it back because they need a show that makes fun of their culture

Sometimes I see them when I'm channel surfing at 2AM. It's always, always, always rap or hip-hop.

Anyway, Episode 2 is on MTV's website here.

MTV giving Judge the green-light to poke fun at their current lineup is probably the first thing MTV's done in years which I actually give them some props for.

It's great I'll actually get to look forward to new episodes from these guys. I was inspired by this to walk around my house with a blue shirt pulled over my head declaring to be the great Cornholio.

I managed a spot on Butthead impression one time too (but I forgot how I got it), and spent all night impersonating him on XBox Live at a friends house while playing Reach. It was awesome.
