My Willowby's Christmas tree! This just makes me completely nostalgic. I have it on tape and I watch it every year. I really need to convert it to DVD so that my children can experience this.

The message boils down to this: No matter what traditions you may have or how bizarre they may seem, one can still have a Merry Christmas. I mean, the mouse family visits Mr. Willowby, his Swedish maid, a bear family, and family of owls and each of them have there own little weird way of celebrating. Mr. Willowby has an annual party, Analese celebrates St. Lucia's Day with a lot of candles, the bears do the honey pot waltz, and the owls have a Christmas concert and of course, the mice have their four-cheese soup.

I mean, coming from a family who has their own little traditions passed down from generations from Slovakia, many people often think I'm a bit strange for celebrating Christmas that way, but I can't imagine Christmas without it and there are also many people who have other strange traditions who feel that same way and that doesn't necessarily make it wrong or right to do that. I love it... I simply love it... It is so underrated.
