I've noticed that there's quite a few people on these forums that don't like talking animal movies. So I was wondering if there's one that you actually do like (or at least don't hate so much).

Personally, I like Babe.
The story is sweet with the right mixture of humor and tear-jerking moments. The effects were nice for it's time & I still think they're pretty good even to this day.
And I think us Aspies can relate to the little pig, y'know, trying to find our own place in the world instead of just going along with society's expectations.

I loved Babe. That talking animal movie was in a class apart of the usual dreck they make with animals. I liked Babe, Pig in the City too and own both. It was just a really good movie.

I loved Milo and Otis when I was little.

Although I was really upset to find out that countless cats and dogs died making that film.

I enjoyed Horton Hears a Who. I can't think of many movies involving talking animals that I like very much, though.

YES.

But even though I loved that movie, the one that defined my childhood was Balto. Cats Don't Dance was pretty good too, and I actually liked The Lion King II: Simba's Pride.

I forgot about that movie. I really enjoyed that movie when I was younger. :)

I really loved the Ice Age films 1 and 2 but 1 more. Such a touching story and very well crafted.

Felidae is a great movie but no one's really heard about it because it's a German film that never got released in the US. Still it's a great movie, it's adult oriented so they don't even bother putting on a family friendly show. You wouldn't think that an animated movie about cats would be like this, with graphic violence and swearing characters.

See for yourself, the whole movie is on Youtube in parts. (I'd think it's fair use, it never got released in the USA after all...)

Definitely up there with the Secret of NIMH (my second favorite).

Felidae is great. So is Plague Dogs and Watership Down. Unlike other talking animal movies where it's all about cute fluffy little critters singing and dancing, these movies are intense, deep, and graphic.

Flushed Away, and my favourite character is still Sid, because he's on the spectrum. :O)

A great many but my top five are:

5. A tie between The Little Mermaid (1, 2 and the prequel) and the Lady and the Tramp movies
4. Babe
3. Secret of N.I.M.H.
2. The Rescuers Down Under and
1. Fern Gully: The Last Rain Forest (do fairies count as animals or are they more humans?)
