I remember last time this film was discussed there were quite a few people who claimed they didn't like this film, but this is actually one of my top three favorite movies. So I was wondering if anyone here actually likes this movie?

I recently managed to buy Kill Bill volume 1 and 2 on Blu-Ray so that I can play it on my new HD TV and I was really impressed by the visual and sound quality. I'm not really a fan of action movies but I think the reason I like this movie so much is because it's not "serious" action, most of it is kind of cheesy and doesn't make a lot of sense which is what makes it entertaining to me. Plus the acting was really good and so was the use of artwork for the set. I know a lot of people say volume 2 isn't as good as volume 1, I agree it's slightly weaker because there isn't as much action but it's still a great movie in my opinion and I don't think you can fully appreciate the first film without the second one (and it's a good thing you can usually find both films bundled together).

So yeah, I'm glad I got this film on blu-ray and it will always be one of my favorites. :)

I do too. :) But I liked how the second film finished the story from where the first film left off. We got to learn more about The Bride and Bill where in the first film we didn't really know much about them.

It's one of my favorite '70's revenge flicks'... and it reminds me of watching Kung Fu theatre with my dad on Saturday afternoons. :)

Aren't there plans for a third one?

Yeah the directed of the films said he wanted to do a third film starring the daughter of Vernita Green as she seeks revenge on The Bride, but he wants to wait until the actress potraying her has grown up so it will take awhile for this movie to get made.

that sounds narly! wouldn't it be ironic if the Bride's daughter saves her mom from Vernita's daughter?

Or I think a better idea would be if Nikki and B.B. were actually friends and it would cause some sort of emotional conflict between the two because she's trying to kill her best friend's mother. Don't you think that would be cool? :)

Also Elle Driver definetly needs to return since she wasn't really killed by The Bride in the second film, she had her one eye removed and was left blind. I guess The Bride felt a better punishment for her since she was the cruelest of the assassins wasn't to end her life but to leave her blind and hideously deformed for the rest of her life.

I've been waiting and holding out for years for "Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair." Why doesn't Tarintino just release it already!?!?! I don't want the dumbed down black and white fight scene with the crazy 88. I want the uncut full color version of that part of the film put back in. >.< I know someone that has a bootleg of it, but supposedly there was a sequence added awhile ago to KB: TWBA.

I just looked up Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair and i'm amazed that I never even knew about it. I hope it does eventually come to blu-ray so that I can get it and watch it in the best quality. :)

Yep. :) I even read that Quentin added another anime sequence to it.
