I've just been watching Casualty, and I have been scrutinising the character of Dr Dylan Keogh. It seems to me that he will be revealed as having Asperger Syndrome in the next few weeks.

Like take tonight. Dylan is outraged that the fact of his former marriage to Sam Nichols has been made public knowledge - by the posting of a photo of both of them on their wedding day - despite the fact that it was made necessary by the recent emergencies that had occurred. All the ingredients are there; I say it's a matter of time before the truth is known.

This will be a great boost for Autism awareness around the country - having an actor on prime time TV who has an important role to play, showing that autistic people have strengths as well as weaknesses. Go Casualty!

:D :D :D :D

I don't watch casualty, but until a few months ago I didn't know the difference between low functioning autism and AS, and it turns out I had it.

Any Public Awareness is greatly welcomed (in the UK at least)

I've noticed that too- he's like a walking stereotype!
I'm glad anyway though because it's my favourite program and he's my favourite character
