I don't know if I've posted this here before or not, but I'd like to see an animated drama series. Something like a crime drama or medical drama. Fully animated with really good drawing. Not cartoonish, and not anime, but "real drawing". Something an hour long, like NCIS or House, but entirely animated. Occasionally they could have a nod to cartoons by having a character hit by an anvil and turn into an accordian or something, but only at the end and not as a plot device. If not at the end, then maybe somewhere during the show in the background. Never to a main character. You'd be watching for the "cartoon moment" all during the show, along with watching the show.

I wish somebody would make one.

That would be a hard sell, because it is deeply ingrained in Western psyche that cartoons are either meant for children or must be comedy. TV Tropes does a good job of explaining it here: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AnimationAgeGhetto
