Error in Colbert Report bothered me

This was the episode monday night. THey said "Jesus wants you to stand on 16 and split aces" you are always supposed to hit on 16 (unless you are counting cards and depending on the count what the dealer has). I mean did they research at all for that bit?

Well if the dealer has 2-6 showing you would stand but otherwise you would hit.

edit: I took it as one of the more common plays that people mess up on. if a dealer has 7 or higher card face up then you should always hit, except for as I said, if you are counting cards.
