What is the worst TV show that you have ever seen? The worst TV show I had ever seen, was a sitcom TV pilot called "Upstate." It was only aired once on WSYR-TV in Syracuse, though I recorded it and archived it in HD, so I can watch it again. The reason I recorded it was it might be good or at least worth keeping for the future as I was only aired once. A lot of other people wanted it to be good, though once they saw it people said it was bad. A common complaint was that it was badly written and cast. Most of the show had the look and feel of a soap opera. I consider the show so bad that it overshot "it's so bad it's good" station by a mile. I bet they wanted to use the Syracuse audience as a cheap but very large focus group. They had a "pre-mortem" of the show called "Making of Upstate" that aired right before the show aired. They were planning to shop the show to networks, but considering how bad it was, I think the only market for the show in its entirety would be either a show that airs the worst shows ever, or a "Don't let This Happen to You" video for people in television, like the book they wanted to publish Lucy Ricardo's book in an episode of "I Love Lucy" Colonial Penn Life Insurance might have interest in using the first few minutes of the show in a commercial, as it looked like it could be one of their commercials, sans Alex Trebek.

Housewife reality shows. :x The kind where a pack of angry girls live together. If you men had the male version, I think you'd understand.

The scariest thing about this? Where I live, they played this show on four different stations during its mercifully brief run. Something tells me the people behind this show didn't have just world peace on their minds when they created this...

700 Club.

It teaches that fornication and non-procreational sex are bad.

TBN, Hour of Power, et cetera...

They all teach religion, but none of them seem to get it right.

Hollyoaks and the current T4 presenters... except Jameela Jamil 'cause she's ridiculously good looking.

I don't have a TV show I dislike very much, but I think Southpark is perceived to be funnier than it is.

Thank you! I thought I was the only one who can't stand that show.

My show for this description would have to be The Biggest Loser. Everyone says it's so freaking inspirational, but I've never found a reason to root for any of the contestants, and the whole "tough love" bit with the trainers is kind of full of crap.

Sex and the City would get my vote. Mainly because it was heralded as some leap for the realistic portrayal of women, and yet all they did for hundreds of hours of TV was moan about men and shopping. Reality TV and the housewives are terrible but i think everyone involved knows it's cheap junk. I think the people making sex thought it was a work of art.
