Sean Connery has defenintly gotten better and more distinguished with age.

Do you agree though that compared too the 1960's and when you see him today or the 80's and the 90's he looks a lot different

connery in 1960's

and in the 1992

do you agree? his face structure has changed a lot as he got older but connery has not seemed too have aged at all in the last 23 years.

I agree he looks better without the rug! ;)

I think the difference between now and then was, back then, he was being "groomed" for a specific type of role, now he has plenty of respect and can just relax and be himself.

Big fan; Finding Forrester is my current favorite of his.

What do you expect from the man who can convincingly play James Bond 21 years after his first outing as 007 (referring to 1983'a Never Say Never Again)? He was only 2 years younger (53) than Roger Moore (55), who played Bond in Octopu**y that same year, and NSNA was arguably the superior film in regards to Bond's portrayal and the overall enjoyability factor of the film. No offense to Moore, but he couldn't hold Connery's jock when it came to the most famous character played in their respective careers.

I do like Sean Connery as James Bond. I also liked Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan in the role, too. I didn't really care for the other guys who played in the role, though.

SC has been around in pix a long time. I've seen him in a number of pix over the years. He has always been a good actor, and has aged well.

i can not determine how anyone can appraise his age as similar in both pictures. it is obvious to me that he is much older in the second photo.

i was never interested in james bond anyway.

He might be older in the second pic but I think he looks much better.

He's sorta hit a max level, like the legendary Patrick Stewart!

^^ You are a movin' fiend :D

The 90's were the last time Connery looked good. My vote will always be for early Dr. No era Connery.
I'd heard that when he was 13 or 14, an older woman (early cougar?) took him in and provided safety during the WWII bombing nightmare and that was the first time he realized he was attractive. Creepy but instructive. Be hot and you'll be saved from bombing raids. (maybe)
