I've been obsessed with these for some time now and some of my favorites so far are:

The "Anne of Green Gables" miniseries done by Sullivan Entertainment
"The Chronicles of Narnia" (1988 BBC miniseries)
"The Borrowers (1992 BBC miniseries)"
"Roots"
"Lonesome Dove"
"Alice in Wonderland (1999)"
"Gulliver's Travels (1996)"
