Anybody ever listen in to other people's FM modulators for XM, sirius, or i-pod radios? Our company trucks just have radios in them with no provision for any other media. I usually have my FM modulator going on channel 88.1 so I can listen to my ipod. Occasionally, I will get someone else's FM modulator from their car while in traffic. Today, I didn't have my i-pod with me, but had the radio tuned into 88.1. I picked up all sorts of stuff from other vehicles. It is fun when one hears a signal coming in to try and figure out which vehicle it's coming from! Usually this can be done by speeding up and slowing down, and observing how the signal gets stronger and weaker as certain vehicles are passed, or as they pass me.

I was quite suprised what some of the truck drivers listened to. I thought those guys only listened to either country or classic rock, but I heard all sorts of different generes coming from trucks. Some were listening to Jazz and classical!

Dunno what you mean by that. I use an iTrip and just tune it to a frequency that's not already in use by a radio station.
