What has everyone got against Jar Jar Binks? So many people say they hate him, but I think he's cool!

Jar Jar was the absolute worst part of Star Wars. Even worse than the stiff wooden dialog of Episode One - and that was REALLY bad.

Heh, we actually killed Jar Jar off in a Starship WP special!

lots of fun!

I find Jar Jar rather annoying, but I wouldn't say I hate him. . .I mean, he doesn't seem THAT bad. . . Dislike, yes, but hate is too strong of a word.

Jar Jar is annoying, but i think the main reeson most peeple hate him is becos hes fun to hate Yes, i reelise thats harsh, but he is a film caricter

can't comment, cos have never seen the films. well, i did catch the first one on telly, by mistake, but only cos i'd watched the making of it (all the technical stuff) which, quite frankly, was more interesting.

Well it was Jar Jar who passed the vote to give Palpatine emergency powers in Ep 2. If he hadnt, then mabey the Confederacy wood have won the Clone Wars, meening Dooku, who was nowere neer the political manipulator that Palpatine was, wood have been in a grater position of power than Palpatine, and mabey had him killed to further his own ends, like Palpatine killed Plagueis. If Dooku, who nose no sutelty, was overlord of the galaxy, then he wood have been 1 helluva lot eesyer to overthrow.
