'Fox, The CW develop rival Sleepy Hollow TV series'

So I got one of my random urges to watch Sleepy Hollow tonight and decided to look it up on IMDB for fun. When in the News Section I come across this:

*takes a deep breath*

You can clearly see that I am upset by this. This is because I really love the Sleepy Hollow that Tim Burton directed. That movie is one of my on-again, off-again special interests (I usually obsess over it around Halloween time), and to see it get ripped off and presumably bastardized for the teenybopper crowd that watches the filth that those networks put out sickens me to my core. Basically, I'm scared that these new TV series will make it uncool to say you like Sleepy Hollow the same way that it became uncool to say you like vampires after Twilight came out.

And before anyone rips into me - Yes, I am well aware of my hypocrisy, since I am a lover and defender of all of the remakes that Tim Burton does. Do I care? No. Because his movies are my biggest special interest and I will always prefer them to anything that came before or, in this case, after them.

So what are your thoughts on this matter?

If it is a grimm look alike I am all for that.
