I live in the U.K. and I've been watching this show and I think it's pretty awesome, however is it true that in the U.S. that the show is a bit different such as working in a few swear words. Not like really strong words like the F word but I saw a clip of Mordecai folding his arms (or is it his wings) and saying to Rigby that "you pissed me off". I saw the episode on CN (can't remember what it was about) and in that same clip he said tick instead of piss. I'm not really complaining I'm just wondering. Do they say other words? I'm assuming that Regular Show is not on the same lines as South Park or Family Guy (2 of my favourite shows by the way) but more like The Simpsons or Futurama because are usually repeated in the daytime though they would cut out bad words. Piss isn't much of a swear word though it's not the type of word you'd hear at 5:30pm.

Actually it's on at 8 pm usually and it's cartoon network. I have never heard a swear word on cartoon network.

Apparently, the original version was all about an acid trip. It might be on youtube, I haven't seen it myself.

He does say "Pissed." I remember that episode. The show is PG and on in early evening. Nothing really bad in it, but there are some things some parents would object to like "It takes more than expired soda to make a party. It takes guests with breasts and mine don't count." -Muscle Man. Then there's an episode where there's a trailer for a gorey movie and they show some mild cartoony gore. It seems to be targeted on people that grew up watching cartoons of the 90s.

Yeah, they regularly (no pun intended) say words like "pissed" and "crap". Also, I'm pretty sure that soda is the PG substitute for booze.

If this show had aired when I was a kid, I'm almost positive that my mom wouldn't have let me watch it.

In my country all the swearing is cut out! They also take away some of the references.
