Probably already been a few threads like this, but seeing that Manos: The Hands of Fate thread reminded me of a hilarious experience I had watching Lair of the White Worm. Was that movie supposed to be so funny? I don't remember any specific things about it except that it had a lot of phallic references, but I remember laughing uncontrollably in some places.

It was definitely playing a lot of the horror tongue in cheek. Ken Russel was known for being a bit "over the top?

Ken Russell! Thank you. All I could think of was Kurt Russell and Leon Russell, and I knew those weren't right. Yes, over the top is a great way to describe it. :D

I thought Dead Man starring Johnny Depp was pretty funny, but I'm not sure if it was intended to be that way. I heard that it was supposed to be a serious movie. I mean, I knew when it was being serious, but a lot of the dialog sounded like something straight out of a comedy movie.
