Mighty Morphin Power Rangers seasons 1 - 3 are apparently to my knowledge availible to buy on DVD as well as many of the other Power Rangers seasons from Zeo and beyond. But I live in the UK and I was wondering if they were availible over here. I went onto Amazon.co.uk and it looks like they do but the season 1 boxset looks different to what it looked like in America and it is refered to as Power Rangers Classix and to some of the seasons I think it say that they are suitable for UK DVD players. So do you think it could be availible in HMV in Newport or Cardiff.

No. The Classix DVDs are made by a German fan group. These can be played on UK players with full consumer rights.
The US DVDs are made by Shout! Factory & can't be played on UK players. They're working on it.
Neither are available in south Wales shops.

Why is it that every US kids shows from my childhood when released on DVD are never availible in the UK? I have the first two voulumes of Batman TAS but the others are not availible. I have the first two seasons of the 80's Ninja Turtles show but the others aren't availible. They have every episode of the Ben 10 saga on DVD in the UK why not the ones I watched as a kid. Believe it or not I do have some kids shows on DVD e.g. X-Men 90's series, Transformers G1 and Spider-Man 90's. Every episode of each of thoses shows.
