As most of you have probably noticed, the front page of WP has an article about the new movie "Mozart and the Whale." I've decided to start a thread to discuss this movie which should come out soon. I'm looking forward to the movie and I want to know what everyone else is thinking about this film. Please reply with comments concerning Mozart and the Whale. Thanks!~

Hartnett is overdoing it a bit, but from what I can see he's got most of it down perfectly. I hope it'll change some minds about AS.

The trailer looks good. I hope the movie is too. I loved when he lectured on and on (and other people couldn't have cared less or looked at him like he was insane). Seemed pretty accurate to me.

I don't know much else about it. Wait a second...I do! It was filmed in Spokane, Washington, which is close to where I live!

They filmed the movie in Spokane, Washington, which is where I live. My brother is an extra in the movie, if they didn't cut him out. If they didn't, he is the pale bald guy, in a valet uniform who catches someone's keys. I think they were Josh Hartnett's. My brother is the valet supervisor for the Davenport Hotel, where Josh and other cast members stayed. My brother said he is cool and looks like a regular guy in person.

The movie was done by North by Northwest Productions, which is a Spokane originated company. We are very proud of them.

Many film companies are filming in my city, b/c it's cheap and it's beautiful, as I hope you will find when you see the movie.
