I actually grew up in the area of Grange Park in St. Helens, a couple of streets away from Grange Park School, which is where Phil Redmond (Grange Hill series creator) actually got the name for "Grange Hill" from..... Claim to fame or what?

Oh, OK then.... maybe not.....

I haven't watched the program itself since I was a kid though, so don't know who Martin is, sorry..... Tucker was more my era.

I don't really like the fact that on their website he's described as "suffering from Asperger's Sydrome", and he has very little other character. He's very one-dimensional. Having said that, most of the Grange Hill characters are pretty one-dimensional. (e.g. there is "the bully", "the fat kid", "the timboy" etc)
