I watch Star Trek Enterprise repeat on TV.

I really like this series even though I know that most fans of the series to not agree with me, the other Star Trek could be better but I have a soft spot for this series maybe because it was the first that I watched Star Trek seriously.

The first Star Trek I watched it was "Star Trek: The Next Generation" but when I was probably 7 or 8 of the years.

Returning to the topic:-)
I think the most Kirk like is.... "Trip" ;-)

Kind of...if he was hybridized with Dr McCoy. (Try to picture that for a moment.)

Actually, I think it was actually Archer, and not just because he was the captain. Less of a hothead, true, and also less of a womanizer (that must have been the leftover "Sam Beckett" ), but still--the impetuosity, sense of adventure/boldness, willingness to bend the rules when necessary--all there.

Compromise: Trip + Archer = Kirk. (Think about THAT one now. )
