Man, that was absolutely amazing! At first, I liked the first Fullmetal Alchemist series more (although, I hated the ending). However, after awhile, I ended up enjoying Brotherhood much more.

I agree I like the original FMA but FMAB was much better. I enjoyed the music, the plot and the ending with FMAB, I loved everything about it really :)

I also liked how FMAB was a bit more "light-hearted" than FMA. I used to love how dark the first series was, but after getting into Brotherhood, I began to realize that it was too depressing.

If Brotherhood was less depressing than the first series, then I'd hate to watch that one! I tried watching Brotherhood (loved the first opening theme), but found it too depressing/disturbing to continue. What really got to me was the chimera episode with Shou Tucker and his daughter. *shivers*

I LOVE Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. I watched it all on my computer and stayed up late on several nights watching it. I found it superior to the first series (though I've only seen the first season and the movie) in every way. I finished it at 1 in the morning one night and I don't think I've ever been more satisfied with an anime ending than that. Definitely one of my top five, just under Cowboy Bebop and above Neon Genesis Evangelion, Elfen Lied, and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.

Oh yeah, you would hate FMA then. The scene when Ed and Al find out that Shou Tucker used Nina and his dog to transmute a chimera is even more emotional and dark. Here's the scene, in case you want to watch it.

Ah, I think I finished it about a year ago myself xD.

I recall liking it, but regardless - Steins;gate will probably be at the top of my list for quite some time now...
