It's decent but I always get annoyed by movies where imaginary people have a physical influence on the rest of the world.

I'm more impressed by The Dark Knight from a psychological standpoint.

Yeah i know some films try to do that and really screw it up but i really like it how they intergrated Tyler and Jack together so anything they both say can kinda fit together to make the plot more interesting

Yeah everyone told me "you should watch A Beautiful Mind". I did, 1/2 way through the movie I'm just like "dang, why didn't I just fast forward through the first half of the movie?" because of course nothing was real. I mean it's not like you are seeing life through their eyes, the camera is taking a third person view which would NOT show all the characters hallucinations.

If I learned anything from Fight Club that I really remember and hold dear it's
"We are a generation of men raised by women, I don't think another woman is what we need"
Probably misquoted but I don't care.

Yeah that is what he says and i cant watch a beautiful mind because there is a scene in there where he puts a baby in the bath and turns the tap on and just walks off and the baby almost drowns

"it's only when we have lost everything. that we are free to do anything"

Yeah that's a good one too, it kept me from making a suicide attempt once.

Remind yourself never to watch this one episode of The Chapelle Show. Yeah, there was one where he's getting revenge on everyone who's gotten in his way and after burning a comedy club he was banned from or something he goes outside and says he wants to see some chicks baby, then he drop kicks it off the screen. These things don't bother me because they are entirely fictitious. Also helps that I don't particularly like babies though I can't see myself hurting one either.

Yeah, the whole fake person thing is a cliche dating back to Psycho, but its tweeked so freshly I don't mind so much. It's also my most favorite of the Palanuhick books.

That quote you mentioned. I was biking over the bridge I intended to jump from when I thought of it and I kept going. Probably biked 20 more miles that day and spent much more time doing long distance bike rides after that.

Have you read the book? Does Chuck P. have the two characters as one in the book as well? I've read a bunch of his other stuff but not Fight Club yet.

I love the movie so much that I even wanted to set up my own fight club. I later abandoned that idea.
