Heard about the remake of the original movie Carrie (based on novel by Stephen King) and I am dying to see the remake, as I have seen the original. (1976)

I've read the book first, which I thought was great, but after watching the original, I thought it was okay.

When I've seen the teaser trailer for Carrie, I had a feeling that the remake would be great, even though there was suppose to be a new trailer released this month or next month.

Any opinions on what the remake could be like?

I think they should have left the original alone. There've been too many remakes already.

This will be the 3rd Carrie movie? I only saw the one with Angela Bettis as Carrie. I never saw the original. Speaking of horror films can't believe that to start 2013 Texas Chainsaw Masacare will be out Jan 4. At least make it show up in Halloween.

I'm looking forward to it even though I've seen the other two (both good), especially seeing as Kimberly Pierce (who directed Boys Don't Cry) will be handling it.

I have seen the original and the remake and this is the second remake they are making. They did make Carrie 2 but I only saw half of it.
