Tonight I had to endure the discomfort of visiting my mothers home, along with two of my sisters, who spun the TV dial to this new TV show "Resurrection", to me should have been more appropriately titled "reincarnation" because that would more closely reflect the content of the show But, this is America, and that would not have gone over well. What I sensed was a spiritual theme, or intent, along traditional "C" lines, if ya know what I mean. Well, maybe it is just the name that the creators gave the show, and the fact that most Americans would not have a positive view of a television series centered on a reincarnation theme. Or maybe people are just so transfixed on that word "resurrection", that they can create their own illusion about the actual content of the show. I just felt like I was having something forced down my throat for some reason. I had to get out of there as soon as I could, and everyone was perplexed as to why I had to leave so suddenly. They couldn't figure it out, really? I'm sitting with my hands clenched tightly together between my knees with my feet pointed toward the door, my head turned away from the screen, earplugs firmly inserted, almost grimacing. I am still a bit trembling as I sit typing this. I dunno even if this is the right forum for this post, as my posts are routinely shifted from forum to forum. I wish I was able to explain what I am feeling right now.
