And now, a reply from your friendly neighbourhood critic. (Yeah, but no one asked!)

15) Batman: Mask of the Phantasm - Never saw this. It's a cartoon, right?

14) Thor - Liked this. Hemsworth is a hunk. He was worth the price of admission alone. The dialog? Not so much.

13) Watchmen - Have to give this another chance. Didn't endear me the first time. Felt strained and uninteresting.

12) Spider-Man 2 - Man vs himself. Truly Euclidean conflict told through Hollywood's modern eyes. You don't see these classic internal struggles every day.

11) Batman (1989) - Another over the top presentation from your neighborhood auteur, Tim Burton.

10) Captain America: The First Avenger - They should leave this Man of Steel without his face-hiding cowl. He's gorgeous without it.

9) Superman The Movie - That scene where Luthor stabbed Superman in the waist with a shard of kryptonite was unnecessarily brutal. The flick was okay, though.

8) X2: X-Men United - Or Aspies United. Same difference. This franchise has done no wrong in my eyes.

7) Iron Man - Fun movie. I dare say Robert Downey Jr is perfect for this Man of Steel. Hopefully there'll be another Sherlock Holmes, too. (Yes, he's an aspie).

6) The Amazing Spider-Man - the reboot? Ugh. Wasn't necessary. Now Star Trek, the reboot...that was necessary!

5) X-Men: First Class - I see this franchise going on and on, not like The Fast & Furious ones which could've ended with the first installment. Now they're up to six?!

4) Kick Ass - A little silly...and derivative. Hopefully the makers of Tokyo Gore Police and other Japanese killer girl films are getting a cut of its profits.

3) The Avengers - Not sure why Samuel Jackson was needed for this film, but okay. Wasn't expecting the tension between Iron Man and Captain America. Nice touch.

2) The Incredibles - Take a normal boring family and give them super powers to save their normal boring world. Yawn. Hollywood tripe. Maybe I have to see this again. Hopefully I stay awake next time.

1) The Dark Knight Trilogy - You mean the Dark Knight Duology. That last one was a forgettable farce. I can't remember one scene and I saw this movie all the way through from beginning to end.

If you thought The Incredibles was Hollywood tripe, you must have seen a different movie than the rest of us. Its a fantastic superhero film and arguably the best Pixar film yet.

The Incredibles is Pixar at their peak, after that it's been hit and miss. And X- Men: First Class is better than Last Stand and Origins combined.

As for the rest, Mask of the Phantasm was the last best Batman movie before Schumacher ruined the original franchise. If you love the Animated Series, you will love MOTP.

Thats really not saying much. Last Stand had its issues, but man did X-Men Origins: Wolverine really suck. First Class worked pretty well, I particularly liked Michael Fassbender as the younger Erik Lensherr.

I still think X-Men 2 is the best of the series thus far though, but I am hoping Bryan Singer can top it with Days of Future Past. Since they are bringing back so many other cast members from the first three films for its time travel storyline, I hope they bring back Kelsey Grammar as Beast again as that was the best thing going in Last Stand.

Last Stand's only redeeming scene was Magneto using his powers on the Golden Gate Bridge, but a lacklustre Vinnie Jones as a cockney Juggernaut "I'm the Juggernaut, b*tch" and Cyclops getting killed off for no reason left me shaking my head.

First Class was better because it didn't take itself so seriously, and Michael Fassbender was excellent as the younger version of Magneto. Days of Future Past sounds promising.
