Anyone else obsessed with this series?

I recently heard it described as poorly executed crack - which in my opinion is pretty much spot on.

I admit it. I watched the whole series and enjoyed it. It was a load of nonsense really (King Midas in fairytale land :? ), but it was a nice little bit of escapism.

Never miss an episode. I've read a lot of books, which seems to have given me an ability to predict what comes next in this series. Love to watch and see if I get it right, which is 90-95% of the time. :)

Ah well, I'm good at waiting for things.

I tend to like characters that are overlooked by other people, or characters that are demonized, misunderstood, or portrayed as the enemy sort of thing. I can never relate to mainstream characters, or female fairytale character heroes like Cinderella, snow white, etc etc.

For example I grew up with Les Miserables (saw the stage musical when I was 12 & became obsessed with it for years), and for some reason everyone assumed my favourite character would either be Cosette or Eponine whereas in actuality my favourite character and also the character I could most relate to was Javert.

While I love Once Upon A Time, nearly all the characters except Regina and Little Red Riding Hood (I like how she's portrayed as alternative sort of thing) irritate me, especially Henry, Emma, Snow, and Charming. Hook irritates me too because they way overdo his sexuality and it comes across as forced.

I love this show. My favorite characters have to be Rumpelstiltskin/Mr.Gold and Red/Ruby. I am also starting to like Dr. Frankenstein/Dr. Whale a lot too.
