I had no space in the title, so to clarify my question, please name your top 10, or any number doesn't matter how many, disney villains. Here's my top 10 best disney villains (not favorites, but best as in being a villain)

1. Frollo - Although I like Shan Yu more, Frollo easily ranks number one best disney villain. He's the most 3 dimensional villain and a very deep fleshed out character in all aspects, very cruel, bigoted, and a psychopathic monster and a twisted leader. His song Hellfire by far was the darkest disney song in existence.

2. Shan Yu
3. Scar
4. Clayton
5. Evil Queen
6. Ursula
7. Tremaine
8. Hades
9. Shere Khan
10. hopper

I don't watch very many Disney movies (anymore), So I could only come up with three: Captain Hook, Jafar, and the Master Control Program. I used to watch The Little Mermaid all the time as a kid, but I don't think Ursula is one of my absolute favorites.

the list was top 10 best, not top 10 favorites. Frollo is a better villain than Shan Yu, but Shan Yu is cooler and thus I like him more. BTW based on your question, is your list your favorite villains or the best villains? if it's best villains list, then where's SHAN YU???

The red Queen- Alice in wonderland, (in real life)
Ursula- The little mermaid.
The red queen - Alice in wonderland animation.
Yzma -Empirer new groow (dont like her fur boa).

wouldn't Yzma be more of a comical villain than a decent villain??

James Woods did a real service with his voice work - when he was cool, he was oh so cool, but when he was mad he was pretty damn pissed.

I'm not especially enamoured of Gothel but I just wanted to give a special mention in that she really broke the mould for Disney villains with her level of camaraderie with Rapunzel.

Indeed, Frollo is by far the best and most realistic disney villain of all time. As a pyromaniac, he advertently singed Paris to let many of the gypsy citizens succumb to their predestined fate in order to pursue Esmeralda, subsequently due to his lustful, yet, contemptuous emotive towards her own self, which was so intensified that he would forcibly make her choose between copulation or execution. He was nothing but a very self-righteous, callous, willful, pontificating, racist, genocidal psychopath - his deeds may even be equivalent to that of Hitler's.
